Product Enterprise
New talking Daleks from Product Enterprise.
These toy Daleks are a little over six inches tall.
Each Dalek has three small wheels on the base. They have moveable eyestalks, guns and sucker arms.
The head dome can be rotated too. A discrete button between the arms activates a spoken phrase.
The button is where some Daleks have a 'speaker' so it's a very clever idea. The last talking Dalek toy I saw had a huge button sticking out of it's head!
The Dalek's lights flash while it is talking.
There are five phrases, uttered in a suitably Dalek sounding voice:
'Seek, locate annihilate'
'Exterminate'
'You are an enemy of the Daleks'
'Daleks rule supreme'
'Destroy the Doctor'
They all say the same phrases, which is a pity as it makes their conversations a bit limited.
With a little more imagination, Product Enterprise could have tweaked the pitch of the recording to get three different voices.
There are three different colour schemes available - red, black and silver.
These are nice looking models and possibly the best Dalek toys to date.

The Daleks are nicely proportioned with good detail. The gun is 'solid' in that it has no seperate rods. That's understandable for a toy, a gun similar to the Comet or Sevans models would be very fragile. The design of the gun is like on the early 60's Daleks and looks quite convincing. |
